Who invented Pepsi?

        Pepsi-Cola was invented in 1898 by a pharmacist named Caleb Bradham in New Bern, North Carolina.


What does it mean when someone refers to a Pepsi collectible as "double dot"?

        When someone uses the term double dot, they are referring to the old Pepsi script logo that has two hyphens between the words

"Pepsi" and "Cola".  This script logo was used prior to 1951 and the term double dot is used to indicate age.

Why should I join the Pepsi Cola Collectors Club?

          The club is a great way to meet other Pepsi Collectors, learn about collectibles as well as the history of the Pepsi Cola Company.  It is also a great network to buy, sell and trade Pepsi and Mountain Dew collectibles.


How much does it cost to join?

         Annual membership dues are $30 (US), $40 (Foreign).  The additional cost for membership outside of the U.S. covers the additional mailing cost for the club newsletter.  If you decide to join online using Paypal there is an additional $1.00 added for processing.

What will I receive as part of my membership?

        You will receive a quarterly newsletter exclusive to club members.  The newsletter contains information about the club, Pepsi collectibles, club activities and news.  You will also be able to participate in local and national events.

How do I join?

        By clicking the JOIN THE CLUB tab on the home page, you can join online if you have a Paypal Account.  There is an additional $1.00 fee for the use of Paypal added to the total cost when joining online.  You can also download and print a paper copy of the Membership Application, and mail it along with a check or money order made payable to the "Pepsi-Cola Collectors Club" and mail

to the address printed on the form.  ALL PAYMENTS must be in U.S. Funds.

Can my spouse/life partner be a member?

        Yes, a spouse or life partner residing within the same household can join under your membership as an associate member for an additional fee of $3.00.  Associate members have full club benefits but do not receive a quarterly newsletter or any other information issued by mail. 

Does the club hold a national convention?

        The club has four events.  The national convention is held in Indianapolis, Indiana in March of each year and is called Pepsi Fest.  There are three other gatherings, one on the east coast in July held in different locations every year along the east coast, one in Branson, Missouri hosted by the Ozark Mountain Chapter, and one on the west coast held in Las Vegas, Nevada in November each year hosted by the South California Chapter.  Additional information on each event is available under the EVENTS tab on the home page.

Are there any club activities near me?

        Local club chapters are a great way to get involved with the club.  Many local chapters meet regularly.  A complete listing of local chapters and contact information is available under the CHAPTERS tab on the home page.

Is the Pepsi Cola Collectors Club part of the Pepsi Company?

        No, we are a separate group run by volunteers and have no legal or business connection with the company.
